Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with development and other QE teams to determine and successfully implement test execution plans.
  • Ensure compatibility and flawless functionality across both Mac and Windows environments.
  • Design, manage, and complete comprehensive testware, encompassing test cases, plans, and reports for complex features.
  • Drive end-to-end testing of assigned features to ensure outstanding quality.
  • Build regular reports on the status of features under test to keep all collaborators informed.
  • Interact with customers for feedback on new features and hard-to-reproduce issues, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Support to collect customer feedback, ensuring we follow through with customers to resolve any issues.
  • Participate actively in customer engagement channels to understand and incorporate user feedback.
Required Skills
  • Relevant degree (B.Tech./M.Tech) from a premium engineering college.
  • 4-6 years of proven experience in automation testing.
  • Experience in integration testing of features for web products.
  • Capability to develop and implement exploratory testing plans to identify and communicate risks using technical knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with JS test frameworks like Playwright (preferred), WebDriver, Nightwatch, etc.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Technical Competency
  • Encourage a high level of confidence in testing abilities with limited oversight, often requested specifically by developers to test important or at-risk functionality.
  • Estimate and schedule own work accurately and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve complex and multi-faceted issues, driving them to closure.
  • Candidates with an artistic inclination will be given preference, bringing an outstanding perspective to our quality engineering team.
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure feature completeness and compete in delivering high-quality products.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

  • Participate in team meetings, offering insights and suggestions to improve processes and product quality.
