Software Engineer II - Java Spring Boot - Microservice Developer
As a Software Engineer II - Java Spring Boot Microservice Developer here at Honeywell Technologies, you will be accountable for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Postgre SQL with Microservices architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient applications. This role requires strong technical expertise in Java Spring Boot development and experience in building microservices-based applications.
In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge software solutions that drive innovation and enhance the performance of our SMART Energy products and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement software requirements
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, Unit testing, testing, and deployment
• Drive innovation in software development processes and technologies

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Java Spring boot development.
• 3+ years of experience in any Database.
• 2+ years of experience in Microservice development.
• 1+ years of experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency in Java Multithreading, Design Patterns
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
WE VALUE
• Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
•Work experience with Python, Java script/React-JS
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and thoughtful skills
