A Day in the LifeOur Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer – Full Stack to join our team. As a Software Engineer – Full Stack, you will be responsible for developing and implementing full stack applications to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and develop UI, UX, software solutions, and deploy them into production. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions, contribute to the development of innovative data products and develop advanced analytical models and actionable insights that fuel our growth and optimize our operations.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:


  • Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, interactive web applications.
  • Develop and optimize full-stack applications using Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI, Panel) and JavaScript.
  • Design and implement data visualization dashboards and interactive UI components that help users analyze and interpret complex datasets
  • Ensure seamless API integration between the front-end and backend ML models/services.
  • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with an emphasis on usability, performance, and accessibility.
  • Optimize application performance, handle large datasets, and improve real-time interactions in web applications.
  • Stay updated with emerging full-stack, UI/UX technologies to enhance product capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions into existing systems and workflows.
  • Document and communicate software solutions, methodologies, and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior software engineers – Full Stack developers.

  Required Knowledge and Experience:


  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong foundation in UI/UX and backend services, preferably working on data-driven applications.
  • Strong Python skills, including experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI, Panel
  • Frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, JS & one or more JavaScript frameworks like NextJS, React, Angular or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of server-side programming languages like Python & frameworks like Node.js, Express.
  • Working experience with RESTful API and backend development.
  • Understanding of authentication and security best practices for web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Expert in deploying, scaling, and monitoring web applications.
