Overall Summary:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Node.js Developer with expertise in AWS to design and implement scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects and providing technical guidance to maintain code quality and performance.
Responsibilities:- Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend applications using the Node.js framework.
- Develop backend systems that meet business requirements and performance goals, including databases, APIs, and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define technical requirements, system architectures, and integration points.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to the development team to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
- Oversee the development and implementation of Node-based applications and solutions, ensuring project deliverables meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Node.js and related technologies, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions to enhance application performance.
Software Requirements:- Extensive experience in Node.js and AWS, along with related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience working with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and CouchDB.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
- Good understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
Category-wise Technical Skills:Backend Development:
- Proficient in developing scalable applications using Node.js.
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, DynamoDB, S3).
Database Management:
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB and CouchDB.
Web Technologies:
- Strong understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience:- A minimum of 9 to 11 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Node.js and AWS.
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams of developers effectively.
- Experience working on large-scale, complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Day-to-Day Activities:- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support in their technical tasks.
- Oversee the development and implementation of Node-based applications, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Communicate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met on time.
- Identify and address technical and project risks proactively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely solutions to enhance performance.
Qualifications:- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in Node.js is a plus.
Soft Skills:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills to guide the development team effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
