QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree from an accredited college or university in a technology-related field
- 4+ years of total IT experience in SAP ERP and integration architectures
- Must have S/4 HANA implementation experience from prepare/explore to run phase
- Hands-on expertise in ABAP, ABAP OO, OData, Fragmented Adobe Forms, Adobe Forms, ABAP New Syntax, and ABAP Cloud
- Hands-on experience in CDS, AMDP, Table-Functions, RAP, SAP Clean Core concepts, in-app or key user extensibilities
- Understanding of SAP functional requirements, conversion into technical design and development using the ABAP language for DDIC, report, interface, conversion, enhancement, and form implementation projects
- Understanding SAP notes and implementation of the same both in manual and via SNOTE
- Experience in building applications in RAP (Restful ABAP Programming) with managed and unmanaged scenarios (highly preferred)
- Understanding of S/4 HANA Extensibility options and experience and knowledge in developer extensibility (embedded steampunk) (highly preferred)
- Strong business process knowledge in one or two SAP functional areas (FI preferred)
- Experience in analyzing business processes and designing efficient technical solutions
- Accountable for code reviews, code scan processes, and dependency analysis to ensure code quality and resolution of defects
- Exposure to developing basic Fiori elements using ABAP CDS and RAP (preferred)
- SAP ABAP certifications (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will be based in Gurugram or Bengaluru office as part of McKinsey Global Capabilities & Services Pvt Limited (MGCS).
You will be working with a group that is responsible for providing developers from our User Facing Tribes with new enterprise data by consuming source data, storing it in central repositories, and building consumption capabilities.
This will involve all business value chain activities from understanding product needs to product development to on-going maintenance and enhancement.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will work with The ‘Steward the Firm’ Tribe in McKinsey’s Technology & Digital function that is responsible for providing developers from our User Facing Tribes with new enterprise data by consuming source data, storing it in central repositories, and building consumption capabilities.
This will involve all business value chain activities from understanding product needs to product development to on-going maintenance and enhancement.
You will be part of McKinsey Technology & Digital function and help with product integration across various systems.
You will be responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of complex components.
You will work on problems of relatively complex scope, through general usage of standard programming concepts and principles and application of own judgment.
You will work as a fully contributing team member, under broad supervision/guidance from senior engineers/architects.
You will work in collaboration with stakeholders and team members to analyze user needs and develop solutions.
You will be member of a squad, having technical capability to develop and implement integration solutions.
You will adhere to software engineering best practices, architecture strategy, standards, and roadmaps.
