Software Engineer II, Payer Ops, TesterOverview:

We are looking for an experienced result driven software tester to join and test our BMS Value, Access and Payment analytics application that is critical to our business operations. The application tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications through comprehensive testing, identifying, and reporting application bugs, and working closely with developers to resolve any issues.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve software defects.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing on applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for applications.
  • Provide regular status reports and updates to management on the progress of application testing and quality assurance activities.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the application testing process.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in application testing and incorporate best practices into the testing process.
  • Ensure appropriate lifecycle plans are created and implemented in compliance with required SOPs.
Qualifications:
  • Reviewing software requirement and preparing test scenarios
  • Experience with test automation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of application testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of SQL and experience writing basic SQL queries
  • Experience in creating, implementing, and executing automated test scripts for web-based applications
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot defects in software applications.
  • Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team
  • Interacting with clients to understand product requirements
  • Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
  • Experience with testing tool HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) is a must
