Software Engineer II – Internal Platforms & Frameworks

We are seeking a Software Engineer II to join our Internal Platforms & Frameworks team.


In this role, you will drive standardization and enhance our internal frameworks by working with Micronaut, Spring Boot, and proprietary technologies. This position offers the opportunity to influence the foundational technologies that power our cybersecurity products.


What You’ll Do:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain internal frameworks and platforms.
  • Drive standardization and best practices across projects using MicronautSpring Boot, and proprietary frameworks.
  • Build reusable components and libraries that enhance development efficiency and ensure consistency across teams.
  • Optimize frameworks for scalability, performance, and security to align with cybersecurity standards.
  • Evaluate, integrate, and maintain tools and libraries that complement the existing frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring robust and reliable internal platforms.
  • Document processes, frameworks, and technical guidelines to streamline adoption and usage across the organization.

What You’ll Bring:


  • 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin with experience in Spring Boot framework.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining internal frameworks or platforms.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • A collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with proprietary frameworks or the ability to quickly adapt to unfamiliar technologies.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity principles or secure coding practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of observability tools and monitoring frameworks.
  • Experience in Micronaut framework.
