Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.
The Sourcing team within Supply Chain Engineering is comprised of software engineers with diverse identities, backgrounds and expertise in various technologies. The team has come together to build a shared platform for the Sourcing processes of both the hardware Devices (Surface, XBOX, HoloLens etc.) and Azure Data centers, capitalizing on opportunities to work with the latest tech, focusing on innovation to build the foundational generation of systems & architecture to revolutionize the way Microsoft and Azure operate a sustainable and responsible supply chain.
