As a Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for developing software applications per project requirements, conducting unit tests to ensure functionality. Implement and maintain test automation frameworks, troubleshoot systems, and collaborate within an Agile environment, participating in story estimation and retrospectives. Utilize version control systems for code management and collaborate with fellow engineers.


Key Job Responsibilities:


  • Programming software applications, components, or features based on project requirements.


  • Writing and conducting unit tests to ensure the functionality and quality of the software. 


  • Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverage of automated testing.


  • Troubleshoot existing systems and applications.


  • Collaborate with Software engineers, QA engineers, Design team and Project managers.


  • Using version control systems to manage and track changes to code and collaborate with other engineers.


  • Working in an Agile environment & participating in story estimation, refinement, retro meetings etc.


  • Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days in office


  • 30-day notification period preferred




Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering)


  • 2+ years of experience


  • Well versed on Front End and/or BackEnd technologies such as HTML, CSS, Angular, React, NodeJS, .Net, Java, Salesforce Apex, Visualforce, Lightening, JavaScript, Shell, Python.


  • Build reusable components.


  • Strong fundamentals on software development: modularization, object oriented design and source code management


  • Writes production-quality code in one major programming language/framework. (production-quality: complexity/feature points, type of code review feedback)


  • Follows coding standards and best practices.


  • Identifies technical tradeoffs (tech debt) and risks.


  • Understands the importance of Atom architecture principles related to scalability, flexibility, stability and simplicity.


  • Understands product area of focus, how it fits into the overall business, and sometimes makes improvement suggestions for it.




Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with AWS DevOps.
