Cisco Secure Firewall (CSF) is the flagship product of the Security Business Group (SBG). FTD integrates aware-willing ASA Firewall services and the world's best and most well-known IPS engine SNORT into a high-performance appliance. It is a very successful product and continues to lead the market with threat centric focus and market-differentiating features. Though we take great pride in being market leaders in threat security for a long time, we are constantly innovating and enhancing our solutions to address the constantly evolving threat perceptions and changing data security paradigms so that our customers are always secure. We take our customers' trust in us very seriously and go all the way to ensure we always protect their data. Our team works on leading security and threat mitigation solutions that are high-performing, scalable and easily manageable.



Your Impact
  • You're passionate about software development & obsessed with quality assurance.
  • Be involved in the design discussions and develop quality products.
  • Discover defects and drive them to the resolution working closely with cross-functional org.
  • Be actively involved in debugging customer escalations and help to resolve issues.

Minimum Qualifications (Provide up to five (5) bullet points - these should be clearly defined, objective, non-comparative, relevant, and quantifiable to appropriately evaluate applicants – not including soft skills):



  • BE/BTech or ME/MTech engineering graduate
  • 6+ years of experience in Networking/Security Domain.
  • Strong OS fundamentals, data-path & understanding of performance/space trade-offs.
  • Strong Programming skills in C/C++, Data Structures & Algorithms.
  • Understanding of modern agile practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and debugging the failures to root cause

Preferred Qualifications (Provide up to five (5) bullet points: these can include soft skills)



  • You are self-motivated, self-driven and enjoy collaborating in a team-based environment.
  • You have a consistent track record of building positive relationships with cross functional teams and vendors.
  • You possess superb verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members.
  • Should have a solid understanding of SW quality and processes.
  • Expertise on - Network security (Intrusion prevention / Intrusion detection /TLS) is preferred
  • Proficient in TCP/IP networking, Datapath implementation
