Software Engineer, DevOps

Iron Mountain’s (IRM) Enterprise Information Technology-Platforms is hiring an experienced  Software Engineer, DevOps. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced organization that is responsible for implementing and maintaining our DevSecOps (DSO) Platform.  Our team builds internal tools and products to support IRM’s Engineering teams.  

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze requirements from cross-functional teams

  
  

• Develop CI/CD  pipelines and deployment processes

  
  

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement DevOps best practices

  
  

• Provide technical guidance and explanations to team members

  
  

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management

  
  

• Write clean, maintainable code to support the DSO platform

  
  

• Document infrastructure and deployment processes

  
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployments

  
  

• Contribute and write code for platform APIs

  
  

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with a concentration in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.

  
  

• 3+ years of experience in a Software Engineering role (DevOps experience preferred)

  
  

• Strong understanding of version control (Git)

  
  

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go)

  
  

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment

  
  

• Experience with REST APIs and microservice architectures

  
  

• Knowledge of a major Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Azure)

  
  

• Understanding of infrastructure monitoring and observability

  
  

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  
  

• Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes, API Gateways (Apigee, Mulesoft), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
