The Transporter Experience Under The Roof (TransporterX UTR) and Development platform (DevPlat) org is obsessed with building a delightful experience for Transporters during pickup and load, building tools that will help developer community across last mile to increase their velocity and speed to deliver features and hold a high bar software quality.
You will hire and develop a world-class team of engineers, with a deep understanding of agile software development methodologies, and will work closely with product owners, engineering leaders, and leadership across the company with excellent communication skills. You will work with our product management team to develop the strategy, followed by architecture and implementation of critical features into our mobile platform. You will own software in all phases of the software life-cycle from architecture and design through deployment and release. You will learn about Amazon’s logistics network, interact with other teams to build optimized systems, and have autonomy to deliver software which impacts multiple delivery provider programs.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
