The role is in the Platform Organization within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions division. This team defines and builds the software platform that the Fusion 360 family of products is built upon.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Pune workplace team and help us fulfill the mission of the organization, which is to drive developer productivity, cross-platform device independence, and software platform consistency.
Responsibilities
Develop high-quality, secure, and stable code for use in Fusion 360 products and implement guidance to help customers experience the full product capabilities.
Ensure new code conforms to established coding standards and meets the design specifications.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and debug code as required (Note: our codebase is primarily written in C++).
Be flexible and respond quickly to changing conditions.
Program in C++ using MS Visual Studio and XCode on macOS.
Take ownership of tasks, stay informed, and proactively seek solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another relevant engineering discipline.
2+ years of experience with C++ (ideally, as your primary programming language).
Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, STL, Qt, and Boost.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with cross-platform application development using Visual Studio on Windows and XCode on macOS.
Experience with Scrum methodology, JIRA, and Git.
Familiarity with JavaScript and/or ReactJS is a plus.
