A day in the life
No two days are the same as we design, create, and ideate new technologies to leverage. Our team is working on a confidential new product. You are an innovative self-starter who is comfortable operating with ambiguity and willing to develop quick proof of concepts. You are passionate owner about customer and societal impact, and drive the technology forward and operate at all levels, diving deep into the details and provide key input into the product. You will be working across multiple organizations and services within Amazon to deliver the unique experience that we are creating.
Key job responsibilities
This position includes working closely with product management, building and owning NAWS service that enables new smart home experiences for Alexa multi modal devices (Echo show family) and applications.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- - Master degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- - Familiarity in Full stack development such as MERN / MEAN .
- - Familiarity in Full stack development using React- Native tech stack .
- - Experience with AWS and cloud technologies including micro-service architecture
- - Experience in building medium to large scale distributed systems
- - Experience in scaling and performance tuning of medium to large systems
- - Experience developing software in a Unix/Linux environment
- - Experience with continuous (CI/CD) deployment and release cycle
- - Familiarity with scripting languages - Unix Shell / Python
