About the team
The Amazon Developer MET Engineering Team plays a pivotal role within the Amazon Devices and Services organization, driving the technology that powers our growing developer ecosystem. Our dynamic, cross-functional team builds and maintains secure, compliant, and self-service mechanisms to provide comprehensive data and insights about the lifecycle journey of every Amazon Developer. Partnering with vendors and teams across Alexa and Appstore, we manage mission-critical marketing platforms, including the developer portal and digital event systems. Our DataTech workstream develops a powerful Developer Data Platform to enable targeted campaigns and qualified lead generation. Concurrently, our WebTech team delivers reliable, scalable web infrastructure and authoring tools to engage our 3P builder community. - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience
