Mobile Testing Engineer – Hybrid iOS and Android
We are looking for a Mobile Engineer, specialized in Developing iOS and Android Apps at scale and motivated to build testing solutions and strategies for various parts of large and modular iOS and Android code bases. You will work with other skillful engineers to solve today's technological challenges and champion quality at all stages of our software development cycle.
Meet our team :
We are part of the Financial Services - Credit organization, where we build and deliver a diverse range of products, including Buy Now, Pay Later, Credit Card/Line of Credit, and Merchant Credit products across multiple countries. Our team is responsible for ensuring that we deliver high-quality products to our customers. This position is for a Software Engineer in Test within the Consumer Credit Quality team. You will be responsible for ensuring that our credit products are shipped with the utmost quality. You will contribute to functional, e2e testing and automation.

Job Description:

• Solid understanding of mobile programming languages and Frontend design patterns.

• Worked on projects with source control/version or package management:

  
  

• Relevant technologies: Github, Maven, Gradle, Pods, Fastlane, Xcode, Xcodebuild

  
  

• Familiar with how back-end affects front-end experiences more than just performance:

  
  

• Relevant skills: Experience building Android applications connected to RESTful APIs or GraphQL.

  
  

• Familiar with build tools and build pipelines: 

  
  

• Relevant technologies: Jenkins, GitHub Actions or other CI Tools

  
  

• Familiar with tools to aid in debugging:

What do you need to bring:

• Collaboration: Work closely with tech leads and engineering managers to understand their testing tool requirements and align automation strategies accordingly.

  
  

• Framework Development: Design and develop advanced automated testing frameworks and tools that are flexible, scalable, and adaptable to the needs of various projects.

  
  

• Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mobile testing tools and technologies. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that can improve the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  
  

• Proof-of-Concept Development: Develop and present Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) for new testing tools and technologies, demonstrating their value and return on investment (ROI).

  
  

• Coding Standards & Design Patterns: Define and enforce coding standards and automation design patterns to ensure all automated tests are written with clarity, maintainability, and scalability.

  
  

• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests seamlessly into the deployment pipelines to ensure continuous testing and early defect detection.
