Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Sustainability Software business unit is seeking talented and motivated Software Developers to work on the Maximo Application Suite product.

In this role as a lead Full Stack developer, you will be responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of our product functionalities. You will actively engage in requirement gathering, ensuring that we capture the needs and expectations of our customers. Your expertise will be instrumental in addressing defects and implementing enhancements, ultimately delivering new releases and patches of the highest quality.

Throughout this process, you will collaborate extensively with a diverse range of stakeholders and other software developers to design front-end and back-end architecture.. This includes Product Owners, Architects, Release Managers, Designers, Support Business Partners, and our valued customers. By fostering strong relationships and effective communication, you will play a crucial role in aligning everyone’s efforts towards the successful evolution of our product portfolio.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 15+ years of experience
• Strong Java experience
• Experience with React, Javascript
• Strong SQL knowledge, DB2 or Oracle or MS SQL Server.
• Junit
• Must have knowledge on Open Shift, Kubernetes and Docker
• Websphere or Weblogic experience
• Agile Methodologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD Tools: Git, GitHub, Travis CI, Jenkins, Artifactory
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in API development and RESTful services
• Working experience on Maximo Asset Management

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge on different Authentication mechanisms ( LDAP, SSO etc)
• JMS/Kafka
• Python / Javascript
• Salesforce
• Basic Linux/Unix knowledge
