Leidos has an opening for a Software Developer to join our team who is highly motivated, responsible and a detailed oriented team. The successful candidate will support technical solutions in a collaborative team environment.   This position requires an experienced, self-motivating individual capable of interacting effectively with key customers and users.


The challenge:


  • Work directly with Subject Matter Experts and client customers to provide world-class application support for multiple utility company applications.
  • Troubleshooting software issues.
  • Willingness to support COTS applications.
  • Provide technical support for enterprise-level application systems.
  • Respond to general questions and trouble tickets in a timely manner.
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify potential solutions for how to resolve an issue.
  • Prioritize multiple, open issues.
  • Follow best practices for change control of proposed solutions.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Working on minor bug fixes.
  • Monitors the performance of internal systems.
  • Provide on-call support as necessary.

What Sets You Apart: (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer science or related) with four plus (4+) years of relevant experience. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Development experience with computer languages
  • Strong communication (written and oral), documentation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast, paced environment and perform duties without immediate supervision.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Possess the ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Proficiency with all or some of the following: MS Office Suite including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access
