Job Description

Amazon is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Software Development Engineer to join the Digital Post Purchase Platform team. The Digital Post Purchase Platform team owns services supporting the post purchase management for Subscriptions, Content and Devices for internal clients such as Amazon Prime, Amazon Music, Audible, Kindle, Prime Video, Amazon AppStore, etc.
This candidate will be joining a team working on highly scalable services including modern UX using native cloud technologies. The work will be highly visible to Amazon customers and internal stakeholders.
As a Software Development Engineer, this person will contribute to the design and development of highly scalable web services and user experiences, while also providing technical leadership and mentoring to the team and tech stakeholders. A successful candidate will have an established background in developing customer-facing experiences and back-end web services, strong technical skills, a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment, high creativity, and great analytical reasoning skills. The candidate will also have proven experience in designing cross-team's systems architecture and mentoring peer software developers to enhance productivity.
- 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
