Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain features in our complex, low latency, performance oriented and highly scalable backend ad serving systems
  • Write and test high quality code using Java and related technologies, eg. Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Junit, etc
  • Work with a cross-functional and geographically distributed team of engineers
  • Analyze and optimize code to ensure the DSP performs within our customer's SLA requirements.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
  • Troubleshoot production issues related to the team’s applications.
  • Effectively manages day-to-day tasks in an Agile process to meet scheduled commitments.
  • Write unit tests and specification documents
  • Review and provide feedback on other’s code submissions.
  • Collaborate across teams including production engineers, architects and subject matter experts to deliver high quality results.

Requirements:


  • BTech/MTech in Computer Science or a related field from a leading university
  • 2+ years of experience designing and programming Java based applications.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiar with concepts and popular tools for dev ops 
  • Experience using Git
  • Familiar with software design methods and techniques.
  • Experience with developing complex, low latency, performance oriented and highly scalable backend applications.
  • ​​Ability to design the classes to store hierarchical relation data and traverse through it.
  • Ability to think about all test cases and validate the solution on those.
  • Experience with databases, MySQL
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Must have an expert understanding of object oriented programming.
  • Experience with continuous integration and large scale automated deployment (CI/CD)
  • Familiarity with Internet protocols such as HTTP and SSL
