Job Description

Software Requirements:


  • Strong knowledge of .NET and C#
  • Proficiency with AWS services and cloud technologies
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, SharePoint, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI

Overall Responsibilities:


  • End-to-End Delivery Management:


    • Oversee the delivery management process for multiple initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Team Leadership:


    • Lead and mentor a diverse team of developers, quality engineers, business analysts, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:


    • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment between technology solutions and business objectives.
  • Governance and Compliance:


    • Implement and uphold governance policies, standards, and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Technical Oversight:


    • Provide guidance on architecture, design, and technology solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement:


    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement strategies to enhance delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Financial Management:


    • Oversee project budgets, reporting on financial performance and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Risk Management:


    • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and dependencies that may impact project delivery.
  • Performance Metrics:


    • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure project success and customer satisfaction.

Technical Skills:


Essential:


  • .NET and C# Development:


    • Strong programming skills and experience in .NET and C#
  • AWS Cloud Technologies:


    • Proficiency in AWS services and cloud-based solutions
  • Project Management:


    • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
    • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, SharePoint, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI

Preferred:


  • Continuous Integration and DevOps:


    • Experience in Continuous Integration (CI) processes and best practices
  • Software Development and Architecture:


    • Background in software development and architecture
  • Release Management:


    • Familiarity with release management and logistics around software rollouts

Experience:


  • 12 to 15 years of experience in managing IT projects within a technology organization, particularly with .NET, C#, and AWS
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and global stakeholders

Day-to-Day Activities:


  • Oversee and manage the delivery of multiple technology projects
  • Lead and mentor team members, ensuring a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Implement and enforce governance policies, standards, and procedures
  • Provide technical guidance on architecture, design, and technology solutions
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency
  • Manage project budgets and financial performance
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies
  • Monitor and report on project performance metrics and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing IT projects within a technology organization, particularly with .NET, C#, and AWS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and present findings to senior leadership
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
