Job Description

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software


We are looking for an experienced Software Architect / Principal Engineer to join our diverse team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions, leveraging expertise in C# development, cloud technologies, and system design to surpass customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development: Architect, design, and implement software solutions using C# and cloud technologies.
  • Distributed Systems: Develop scalable distributed systems, implementing messaging solutions.
  • Cloud Expertise: Develop and deploy applications on leading cloud platforms, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction, code reviews, and mentorship to the development team.
  • System Integration: Lead efforts in application integration, ensuring seamless interoperability.
  • Innovation & Problem Solving: Propose innovative solutions to complex challenges, staying updated with industry trends.
  • Testing & Documentation: Ensure robust testing and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10+ years in software development with a strong focus on C# and cloud technologies.
  • Certifications: Certified in relevant cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Technical Skills:
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven understanding of application integration and system lifecycle methodologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously
