Job Description

The Social Media Coordinator will support the social media marketing team by managing various project tasks and ensuring the seamless execution of social media campaigns. This position involves assisting the social media leads with compliance submissions, design briefs, building dashboards, producing reports and utilizing project management tools to oversee campaign progress.


This position will report to and work closely with the group’s Head of Social Media, and work with interdepartmental groups and agencies (i.e., Advertising, Events & Public Relations, Channel Marketing, Web, Content, Direct Marketing). The role sits within the Content & Communications team. The ideal candidate will have B2B social media marketing and analytics experience, as well as familiarity with and interest in investing and regulated industries.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing social media campaigns using project management tools like Workfront.
  • Support social media leads by preparing copywriting submissions, ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines and voice.
  • Manage compliance-related tasks, ensuring content meets regulatory and internal standards.
  • Create and manage design briefs, collaborating with creative team to produce engaging visual content.
  • Implement social media campaigns on platforms such as Sprinklr/Hootsuite, ensuring timely and accurate deployment.
  • Coordinate creation of daily, weekly and/or monthly reports for campaigns and initiatives in alignment with scope requirements

REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Communications.
  • Avid social media user with keen interest in social media marketing and trends; familiarity with the following social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs.
  • Social media marketing and/or agency experience is preferred. 
  • Familiar with CRM platforms such as Sprinklr or Hootsuite.
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a financial services marketing group; familiarity with and interest in investment management topics. Knowledge of financial advisory marketplace a plus.
  • Ability to work independently; take initiative to improve processes or solve problems.
  • Ability to multi-task and track a wide variety of activities and pay close attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience working with web/graphic designers and other creative professionals.
