JOB DESCRIPTION – CONTENT MANAGER (Social Media)
POSITION TITLE: Content Manager
LOCATION: MUMBAI
PURPOSE: This role is responsible for managing the website, creating engaging content, and executing digital marketing campaigns to enhance our brand visibility, engagement and advocacy with our target audience.
Roles & Resposiobilities:
1) Strategy & Planning:
- Conduct competitive analysis and audience research to inform the strategy for the school’s website and social media platforms.
- Develop and implement social media strategies and digital marketing campaigns tailored to each campus, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Create and manage a content calendar for consistent and timely posting across all social media platforms.
2) Content Creation & Management:
- Manage the school’s website, ensuring that all content is current, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
- Develop engaging, visually appealing, and platform-specific content that resonates with the target audience and the broader community.
- Oversee the brand's primary social media pages and set guidelines for school-centric social media pages.
3) Platform Management:
- Handle day-to-day operations of current social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, while exploring opportunities for LinkedIn, YouTube, Quora, and emerging platforms.
- Monitor social media metrics to assess performance, adjusting strategies to increase social media following, engagement, and overall digital presence.
4) Analytics & Optimization:
- Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and content strategies.
- Provide actionable insights and implement data-driven strategies to optimize digital content and improve engagement rates.
- Track and analyze review trends on GMB to gather insights and develop an informed content strategy.
5) Collaboration & Coordination:
- Travel to campuses as needed to collaborate with school teams, covering events and generating content.
- Coordinate with the digital marketing team to ensure a seamless digital experience across both paid and organic mediums.
- Liaise with the creative team to produce high-quality videos, graphics, and other digital content for social media platforms.
6) Core Technical Capabilities:
- Proficient in using video and graphic design tools for shooting, conceptualizing, and creating visually compelling content for digital platforms.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
- MBA in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the education sector or a consumer-oriented brand.
- Strong content creation skills with expertise in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro).
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies and digital marketing campaigns.
- Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Quora, etc.) and their respective metrics.
- Experience in community management and customer engagement on social platforms.
- Understanding of SEO, SEM, and web traffic metrics.
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager).
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel to school campuses as required on a weekly basis.
