INSLP (Security & Loss Prevention) is hiring an SLP Manager to support growth of the “SLP MDR Concessions Abuse Program” and help preventing losses via identification of abusive entity. The program is aimed at identifying and eliminating Concessions Abuse while preserving customer trust.
In this role, the SLP Manager will be managing a team of 7-10 SLP Specialists and be responsible for the overall performance and delivery of the team. This will require the SLP Manager to work with key organizations such as CS (Customer Service), ARI (Abuse Risk Investigations), Legal, CBW (Cost of Business Waste), LM (Last Mile) Station teams and Program Managers from SLP to review loss trends and opportunities, and take continual loss prevention, and improve the service level and quality of performance. Experience in the field of Security, Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Investigations or relevant professional certification is required, and the SLP Manager should be comfortable with making decisions in the midst of ambiguity. Key job responsibilities
People Management:
• Leading and developing a team of 7-10 SLP Specialists, responsible for the overall performance management, coordination and evaluation of the team.
• Leading cluster/zone level initiatives, primary owner of cluster/zone shrink and MDR Concessions performance, and will be required to interact with other cluster/zone SLP Managers.
• Communicating policies and investigation standards to SLP Specialists, following-up to ensure consistency and compliance, and supporting in ECR/customer escalations and writebacks.
• Develop and achieve performance goals and objectives in line with INSLP vision and goals.
Business/Operations Management:
• Identifying pain points, process gaps and MOs, implementing solutions and process improvements to meet OP2, IOP and SIOP targets, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the program as well as LM sites. Understanding and effectively utilizing resources provided by INSLP and CS.
• Identify emerging hotspots and MOs, and deploy on-ground SLP team accordingly for quick action and abuse prevention.
Security Operation
• Implementation and follow-up of Loss Prevention Plan in MDR Concessions
Audits and Compliance
• Keeping the plans and SOPs updated
• Periodical check of documentation
• Preparation of documents for internal and external reviews
• Conducting SLP audits and implement SOPs
• Surprise check and reports at LM (Last Mile) stations
• Ensuring the team is adhering to SLAs defined for the SLP MDR Concessions Abuse Program
Process Improvement and Loss Prevention
• Process review, gap analysis and implementation of necessary improvements
• Weekly, monthly and quarterly assessments
• Loss prevention reporting
• Feedbacks from internal and external stakeholders
• Follow up and completion of CAPA
• Cross functional team connects
• Acting on the recommendations proposed by the team on loss prevention initiatives based on on-ground intel
Loss Prevention Analysis and Investigation
• Work closely with the SLP and CS teams to analyze the loss trends in MDR Concessions
• Weekly loss trend analysis, identifying defects / abusive entities and working towards loss reduction
• Ensure investigations are closed within SLAs
• Ensuring the team is meeting the weekly investigation targets and submitting investigation reports
• Sharing RCAs and PTG initiatives on shrink and unmet goals
• Graduation with minimum 3 years of experience in the field of Security, Loss Prevention, Shrinkage, Asset Protection, Investigations
• University degree level or equivalent through experience and professional certification
• A minimum of 4- 8 years in law enforcement or security-related profession
• Ability to function in an ambiguous, fast paced work environment
• Strong interpersonal, verbal (speaking, listening, interpretation) and written communication skills
• MBA or equivalent degree from a premier institute
• Extensive and up to date knowledge of security equipment and technology
• Experience in managing or coordinating security investigations of complex nature
• Knowledge of information security processes and systems
• Experience in security auditing
• Exposure to MNC culture and dynamics
