About the team 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in automating server build processes using the Ansible automation platform, ServiceNow, GitHub, and Bitbucket. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, extensive experience with infrastructure automation, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies. This role requires proficiency in error handling, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Senior Software Engineer will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and optimization of server build automation workflows, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our infrastructure.

What you will be doing:

              • Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure

              • Understanding the demands of stakeholders and devising a strategy to develop automation as required.

              • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes

              • Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results

              • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes

              • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

              • Planning projects and being involved in project management decisions

What you bring:

• At least 8-10 years in experience Devops,Shell Scripting,Python,Linux
• Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments
• Working knowledge of AWS and Azure
• Configuration Management experience such as Ansible or AWX.
• Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as Shell, PowerShell and Python
• Managing production infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
• Proficiency with BitBucket, Git and GitHub workflows
