Essential
Very strong on Java/Python & must have strong REST APIs working experience.
Solid knowledge on scripting.
Must have good working knowledge in Jenkins CI/CD pipelines/ArgoCD.
Experience working with the following tech stack – AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Bash & Python, GitHub, Prometheus, Grafana, VictorOps, Grafana, ArgoCD, OpenShift,ThousandEyes, AlertManager.
Must have good exposure on Linux.
Good understanding of Docker & Kubernetes.
Very high problem-solving ability, able to handle work under pressure, strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering / Relevant technologies
6+ years professional experience in coding, designing, developing and analyzing data
Preferred:
Hands on experience onKubernetes,AWS, OCP,with extensive experience in containerization using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
Experience in setting up Dev, Test, Pre-production and Production environments.
Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities, solutions & their implementation in automated build, deployment, and monitoring.
Define & manage Service Level Objectives (SLO), Service level Indicators (SLI) and implement instrumentation (Prometheus/Grafana) and monitoring.
Identify & enable self-service capabilities for infrastructure & application management tasks
Demonstrate the ability to quickly understand needs from a user perspective, move forward to develop working prototypes that captures the essence of what the product should be.
DevOps architecture review & decision making. The ability to not only code and configure open technologies & tools, but also integrate technologies across diverse platforms is critical to success.
Consistently apply open technologies & instrumentation, not limited to Docker, Bash, JavaScript, Python, Git, Groovy, Jenkins, Linux, HA Proxy, AWS Cloud, ELK, Java, Kafka, SQLLite, Influx DB & Zookeeper,
Upto 20% travel (India domestic) to other TSYS & vendor locations. International travel, as needed.
