Role Title: Site Reliability Engineer & AWS Expert - Business Workflow Applications (BWA)Business Workflow Application (BWA) team engineers and supports Important Business Services (IBS) applications like Managed File Transfer (MFT) and Control-M. Our team is committed to reliability, innovation and excellence. We are seeking your application ifyou enjoy working in a team that is high performing, executes seamlessly under pressure, promotes transparency, believes in trust, builds applications and platforms with a purpose that is designed to meet and exceed customer expectations. We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with deep expertiseon AWS to join our dynamic team of engineers and help us maintain and enhance the MFT platform and application. As a SRE & AWS SME, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring stability, scalability and performance of our AWS hosted MFT systems. You will work with the engineering and support teams to mitigate single points of failure and enhance our infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain AWS instances of our MFT systems (GoAnywhere)Collaborate to ensure system reliability and performanceIdentify, design, implement and manage observability using tools like DataDog, Big Panda and other AWS toolsIdentify, design and implement automation for repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and predictive deliveryConduct regular systems audits and performance tuningDevelop and maintain high quality documentation for process and proceduresParticipate in on-call rotation and provide 24/7 shift-based support for the applicationsManage, configure and troubleshoot issues relating to Database, Windows, AWS resource, networking (VPCs, proxies and CDNs),and administer high-availability clustersSpecialize in systems (Database, operating systems, storage subsystems, networking), while implementing best practices for availability, reliability and scalabilityBuild good relationship with key stakeholders from business and other team stakeholders within TechnologyLead and be available for major issues outside of working hours when needed Key BehaviorsCustomer focusLeading with data and ability to clearly communicate the value.Problem solving and Decision MakingDeep dive to clearly identify the issue, solutions and explore alternatives outside familiar approaches.Result orientatedDevelop logical, realistic plans to meet objectives. Ability to be an active listener who can provide constructive feedback and receive them as well Key Skills & QualificationsEssential:AWS experience of min 8 years (AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Security)Must have at least 7 years of experience in managing applications and platforms running on Linux (RHCSA certified – System Engineer)Must have proficiency in Ansible & TerraformMust have managed support for critical applications like MFTand or BMC Control-MMust have experience on ServiceNow Beneficial Certification onAzure as wellAbility to report metrics, data via Power BI or any other reporting toolsDataDog or Big Panda certificationsLSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
