Could you be the full-time Site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Lead in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and industrial safety expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and proactive teammates.
You'll drive the implementation of EHS policy on the field according to Alstom/Region/Country-Cluster guidelines and targets, and improve EHS results at the site. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Alstom Management Team, EHS Network, Manufacturing, Platform, Finances), ensure EHS Risk Assessments are done and appropriate measures to control risks are defined for the Site, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of developing the site EHS management system, but also monitor compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, contractual and company requirements.
We’ll look to you for:
Supporting Site Management in achieving EHS results
Advising and supporting operational management in EHS actions implementation
Ensuring the development and maintenance of emergency plans at the Site level
Controlling subcontractor activities with respect to EHS
Leading the EHS function at the site
Developing EHS culture and continuous improvement within the site

Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering
Qualification in Industrial Safety (MTech from NIT or Diploma from RLI)
Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing sites
Knowledge of ISO14001, ISO45001
Familiarity with local legal EHS requirements
A certification in environmental management or a related field is desirable
Proven leadership and teamwork capabilities
Excellent communication and analytical skills
