About the Position:


We are seeking a skilled CBTC Test and Commissioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the testing, commissioning, and validation of communication-based train control systems. This role requires a strong technical background in railway signaling systems and a keen eye for detail to ensure the safety and efficiency of train operations.


Key Accountabilities:


- Conduct testing and commissioning of CBTC systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications.


- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports for system validation.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and project management, to ensure seamless integration of CBTC systems.


- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues during testing phases, providing timely solutions to minimize project delays.


- Support on-site testing activities, including site inspections and performance evaluations.


- Provide technical expertise and guidance during system installations and upgrades.


- Maintain thorough documentation of test results, findings, and engineering changes.


- Participate in safety and risk assessments, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and best practices.


Key Experience Preferred:


- 5 years of experience in railway signaling systems, specifically in CBTC or similar technologies.


- Strong knowledge of railway signaling principles, control systems, and communication protocols.


- Experience with software tools for simulation, testing, and data analysis.


Education/Qualifications Preferred:


- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.


- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.


- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in the railway industry.


- Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.


- Experience with system integration and validation processes.
