Job Family Definition:


Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems. Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies. Typical customers are company end users and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, Finance, a business, or the company.

Contributions have visible technical impact on a product or major subcomponent.  Applies in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex problems. Visible contributions improve time-to-market, achieve cost reductions, or satisfy current and future unmet customer needs. Recognized internal authority on key technology area applying innovative principles and ideas. Provides technical leadership for significant project/program work. Leads or participates in cross-functional initiatives and contributes to mentorship and knowledge sharing across the organization.


What you’ll do:


  • As an UX Architect and Developer will be responsible in creating User Experience on the ServiceNow platform.
  • As part of the job the UX Architect researches, analyses and understands user needs and preferences and designs intuitive/interactive interfaces.
  • Collaborates with various product owners, module leads and developers to communicate and drive improvements to the user experience both at the agent and end-user level.
  • A good understanding of ITIL/ITSM areas and Helpdesk systems will be helpful.

What you need to bring:


Education and Experience Required:


  • Typically a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience or a master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:


Mandatory


  • Experience in designing custom portals and building intuitive User experiences.

Mandatory experience in one of the following


Good experience with UX Design on ServiceNow Portal and UI Builder framework.


  • Good understanding of web development technology like HTML/CSS and Angular JS.
  • Experience both Employee Center and Legacy/Custom Service Portals, Native UI Development Experience.
    • Hands-on experience with pages, widgets, themes and the UI Builder framework.
  • Experience with Configuring Agent Workspaces, Setting up and configuring Virtual Agent, and Teams/Office365 Integration is a plus.
  • Along with the UX design, any experience in development on the ServiceNow platform will be a significant advantage.

Alternatively, very good experience (6+ relevant, with overall 8+ IT experience) with UI technologies like CSS/HTML (and frameworks like Bootstrap) and Angular JS and willingness to learn development on the ServiceNow platform.
