We are looking for a ServiceNow ITOM expert with a strong background in CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping. Here’s a summary of the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:
Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow ITOM Administration: Work as part of the ITOM admin team, developing custom software solutions.
- Consulting Services: Install, configure, and integrate ServiceNow ITOM products.
- Data Solutions: Design solutions for data import/export between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Platform Management: Manage application and platform upgrades, including impact assessments and remediation plans.
- User Support: Resolve escalated issues/defects within ServiceNow.
- Documentation: Prepare technical documentation as required.
- Knowledge Enhancement: Enhance customer knowledge in IT Operations Management using the ITIL v4 framework.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Experience: 3+ years with ServiceNow ITOM products.
- Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of ServiceNow Platform, CSDM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Hands-On Skills: Strong experience in troubleshooting and configuring ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, and Event Management.
- Development Skills: Experience in scripting, customizing, and developing the ServiceNow platform, including automation using Flow Designer.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Project Experience: Experience with multiple ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping projects involving various enterprise and open-source technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Accreditations in ServiceNow System Administrator and ITOM products like Discovery and Service Mapping.
