We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining policies and standards, designing technical architecture, and leading the implementation of ServiceNow solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including its data model, modules, and components, as well as the ability to design and build custom applications and integrate with other systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Policy & Standards Definition:

·Establish architecture principles, integration standards, platform upgrade strategies, and performance tuning for ServiceNow projects.

2.Technical Architecture Documentation:

• Create and maintain technical architecture documentation for implementations.
• Develop framework structures and templates for capturing technical information on module implementations.

3.Technical Feasibility & Solution Implementation:

• Support customer and vendor teams in assessing the technical feasibility of business requirements.
• Lead the implementation of solutions.

4. Issue Resolution:

·Lead the resolution of any technical issues preventing successful service delivery.

5. Solution Design & Deployment:

·Architect, design, and deploy solutions using the ServiceNow platform.

6. Development Best Practices:

• Define development best practices, architecture guidelines, and code review checklists.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the ServiceNow team.

7.Platform Understanding:

• Maintain a solid understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including its data model, modules, and components.
• Configure forms, lists, and other UI elements.

8. Custom Application Development:

·Design and build custom applications on the ServiceNow platform, including creating tables, business rules, UI policies, and access controls.

9.System Integration:

·Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using web services (RESTful and SOAP APIs).

10.API Utilization:

·Utilize ServiceNow APIs (REST API, SOAP API, and other ServiceNow-specific APIs) for data interaction and manipulation.

11.Workflow Automation:

·Design and implement workflows to automate and streamline business processes.

12.Service Portal Development:

·Develop Service Portals using widgets, themes, and Service Portal APIs.

13.Security Model Understanding:

·Understand and implement ServiceNow’s security model, including roles, permissions, and access controls.

14.Performance Optimization:

·Optimize ServiceNow configurations and scripts for efficient application and workflow performance.

15.Version Control:

·Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track changes to ServiceNow configurations and scripts.

16. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

·Analyze user requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.

17.Effective Communication:

·Collaborate with team members, understand user needs, and document solutions effectively.

18.Agile Methodologies:

·Apply Agile development methodologies in ServiceNow development projects.

You’ll win us over by:

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect, with a focus on architecting and implementing solutions.
• In-depth technical knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and applications (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, Portal, and Integration Hub).
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Knowledge of workflows, reporting, and dashboards.
• 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration and development.
• 4 to 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Lead.
• Experience in developing custom applications.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow integration techniques, import sets, transform maps, orchestration, and LDAP integration.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications.
• Strong team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
