The Cloud Native Business Unit (Portworx) division of Pure is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Web Strategy & Ops Manager to manage Portworx.com. As a key member of the Growth team you will work with your counterparts in Product Marketing, Technical Marketing and Product teams to help communicate the Portworx vision on our website. You will contribute to the design and development of conversion-driven customer experiences. You will work closely with our leadership team to integrate website efforts with broader business objectives. You will own our website analytics and leverage data to personalize user experience and continuous improvement. 

 

• Lead the development and implementation of a website strategy that aligns with broader business goals to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
• Partner with product & technical marketing teams to define goals, objectives, and KPIs for the website.
• Website Conversion Optimization: Perform A/B testing, heat mapping, and data analysis to enhance conversion rates on key web pages and increase overall user engagement.
• Optimize user experience (UX) and website design to improve site performance, usability, and engagement, ensuring consistent improvements in user journeys.
• Manage a comprehensive quarterly/annual roadmap for web properties and ensure seamless project execution with external engineering and design teams/agencies.
• Own website analytics, using tools like Google Analytics to measure, report, and optimize performance. Leverage data insights to personalize user experience and drive continuous improvement across the site.
• Manage SEO program by working with product marketing team to do keyword research, prioritize keywords and project manage the agency
• Maintain hands-on knowledge & implementation of website content management systems (CMS), like WordPress, and marketing tools (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce), ensuring robust integration across platforms.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

• 8+ years of experience leading web strategy in partnership with product & technical marketing.
• Proven ability to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions through website strategy and optimization techniques.
• Strong knowledge of conversion optimization methodologies such as A/B testing, multivariate testing, and heat mapping.
• Expertise in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) and performance metrics to guide strategy.
• Experience working with external engineering and design teams/agencies for project execution.
• Experience in managing SEO agencies and tools like SEMRush
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively across globally distributed teams, especially US-based counterparts.

• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bengaluru office 4 days a week, in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
