Senior Testing Professional

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Testing Professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both manual and automation testing and have a thorough understanding of the bug life cycle. This role requires expertise in DevOps practices, automation test tools, and open-source technologies. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable working in a hybrid work environment.

 In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Manual and Automation Testing: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Bug Life Cycle Management: Identify, document, and manage defects through the entire bug life cycle, from reproduction to resolution.
• DevOps Integration: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate testing processes into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Tool Utilization: Utilize and manage automation test tools such as Microsoft Test Manager, PostMan, and other relevant tools to ensure quality and performance of software.
• Technology Stack Proficiency: Apply working knowledge of Docker, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, and other open-source tools to support and enhance testing environments and processes.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to convey test results, issues, and improvements.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and propose solutions to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• In-depth knowledge of the bug life cycle and defect management.
• Proficiency with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with automation test tools such as Microsoft Test Manager, PostMan, and similar tools.
• Working knowledge of Docker, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, and other relevant open-source technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work Environment: Willingness to work in a hybrid model, with the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site as required.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Certifications in relevant testing and automation tools.
• Experience with additional programming languages or scripting.
• Familiarity with other open-source tools and technologies.
