As a Test Automation Engineer Lead within the Digital Factory US Middle Markets team, you will be at the forefront of our move towards fully automated testing and deployments for Guidewire releases and enhancements.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
·Defining and creating the QA Test Strategy document which includes end-to-end functional testing, regression testing, automated testing, acceptance testing and performance testing plans.
·Develop the Quality Engineering, roadmap, KPIs, standards, and practices for the platform and agile product teams.
·Track and manage overall testing progress and communicate QA/Test status.
·Implementing effective QA/Test processes and managing all deliverables, risks, and issues.
·Participate in Sprint planning sessions, Review Test Requirements/Test Cases and help resolve the queries raised by the QA team.
·Participate in defect triage meetings (as required) and report on progress.
·Develop an integrated end-to-end functional test plan.
·Develop a release user acceptance test plan.
·Develop a performance test plan and support the creation of performance test scripts.
·Assess product team requirements and propose test automation solutions to enhance.
·Mentor and collaborate with product Scrum teams, providing guidance on test automation best practices.
·Own and lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks.
·Create and conduct test automation training and overview sessions for teams.
·Provide hands-on assistance with automated deployment strategies.
·Create and deliver reusable CI/CD test pipeline templates.
·Utilize test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber Framework, JIRA, Rest Assured, JMeter and CheckMarx.
·Experience with automated testing tools such as Micro Focus UFT, LoadRunner
You will report to the Release Train Engineer (Delivery Lead).

·Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.
·Proficient understanding of Scrum Agile methodology and experience working in a Scrum team.
·Adaptable to new test automation strategies, tools, and technologies; comfortable with change.
·Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate test automation goals and influence decisions.
