Job Description

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Engineer (Windows Collaboration Tools & M365 Migration Expert). The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive technology services, developing automation strategies, and advancing our business and technology products. This role requires a strong background in IT project management, strategic technology implementation, and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive team culture.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver comprehensive technology services and automation strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement technology strategies and policies to drive business value and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Successfully conceptualize, launch, and deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Articulate technical strategies and project statuses to management in clear, concise terms.
  • Resolve moderate complexity technical issues through innovative solutions and analytical approaches.
  • Leverage analytics, usage patterns, and telemetry to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Contribute to a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect within the technology team.

Performance Measures:


  • Timely and budget-conscious delivery of IT projects.
  • Effective development and execution of technology strategies.
  • Positive advancements in business and technology product initiatives.
  • Improvement in team culture and diversity metrics.

Technical Skills:


  • Windows Internals:
    • In-depth knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
  • Microsoft Exchange:
    • Certification or formal training on enterprise-level deployments of Exchange 2013-2019 and Exchange Online Hybrid deployments.
  • Microsoft 365:
    • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-scale M365 tenant migrations and hybrid environments.
  • Public Cloud Technologies:
    • Strong understanding of public cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
  • Azure Active Directory:
    • Extensive knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, and managing identity in hybrid environments.
  • Email Security:
    • Detailed knowledge of email security and hygiene practices.
  • Scripting and Automation:
    • Experience in automating administrative tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
  • Agile Methodologies:
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies and participation in agile ceremonies.

Experience:


  • 6+ years of relevant experience in a technical position within large organizations, with hands-on knowledge of automation.
  • Experience within the banking sector is preferred.

Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: MVP, MCSE are highly desirable.

Soft Skills:


  • Strategic Thinking:Ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
  • Project Management Understanding:Adequate knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Communication Skills:Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
