WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Technology Program Manager who will lead the program management function for Nike’s strategic programs within Global Technology / Consumer Product Innovation Portfolio.
The successful candidate will be seasoned in program management, with a product mentality, within the technology space, preferably experience supporting tech innovation. This candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, analytics and reporting skills and demonstrated experience working within an agile program model structure.
Given the role supports digital capabilities and platforms to execute consumer product design and creation, it is highly desired that the ideal candidate has worked on digital product creation and has background of product management to be successful.
The successful candidate will build effective working relationships across functions to align and drive execution and is a problem solver with an ability to prioritize multiple and competing priorities while driving a plan to execution.
The successful candidate will have a track record of dealing with ambiguities and establish structure to drive the execution rigor to deliver outcomes. It includes the ability to listen, understand and deliver while building positives relationships across the org. This individual will play equal parts strategy partner, problem solver doer, influencer and delivery specialist, and build an inclusive team environment that encourages a diversity of
perspectives and ambitious ideas.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
You will be asked to lead programs and will be responsible for the end-to-end timely, on budget technology execution, actively engaging key business and technology portfolio partners to ensure opportunities, risks and issues are understood and addressed.
You will co-create and help develop product dashboards, portfolio reporting and analysis activities.
You will manage a complex program with multiple stakeholders across Nike technology teams and Nike business partner teams, at multiple location and time zones in particular Nike India Technology Center @ Bangalore and Nike WHQ @ Beaverton, Oregon.
You will work closely with Nike Technology partners and Nike business partners to execute the program objectives, delivery outcomes and milestones.
You will create, socialize and track technology program schedule and plan across the multiple teams to deliver program outcomes
You will manage dependencies, risks, and issues across engineering squads, domains and pillars within Nike Global Technology teams
Facilitate and lead the planning sessions with product, engineering, architecture to shape the technology feature roadmap, delivery plan across multiple engineering squads and communicate the approach /intent.
You will serve as the single touchpoint for the program from Nike India Technology Center and work in close partnership with your peer program managers at Nike WHQ to deliver program outcomes.
You will be Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) representing team in program reviews, business reviews to provide regular updates to stakeholders on end-to-end health and progress, and risk management
You will facilitate priority/capacity tradeoff discussions for the tech roadmap to ensure the right amount of scope to meet the business value and outcome
You will organize/publish metrics and data to support KPIs that ensure tech delivery is monitored and controlled against business objectives
You will facilitate and leads GT forums including artifacts, processes, and provides technology-related inputs and updates to the Program Management leadership team
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's' degree with 8 years’ additional relevant professional experience
5+ years hands-on program management experience in leading technology teams within product organization
Experience working with advanced, large-scale Agile setting and aligned to annual business funding model
Experience working with Jira or similar tool, Confluence, other reporting tools
Strong experience working as the single touchpoint for the program & work in close partnership with peer program managers across GEO’s.
Experience managing dependencies, risks, and issues across engineering squads, domains and pillars within strong Technology teams
