Job Description

The mission of Amazon Lending is to provide fast and convenient access to working capital for micro, small, and medium-sized businesses on Amazon. Small businesses continue to be underserved by traditional lenders. We are passionate about enabling the growth of these small businesses by removing a critical barrier – access to capital. We want to do so by delivering a differentiated and superior customer experience to let small businesses focus on their trade versus worrying about capital.
Amazon Lending is seeking a passionate and talented Senior TPM to join the team. You will have the opportunity to influence technical architecture, establish and own a roadmap. This role requires working with Product teams as well as Marketing, Business Development and Partners to define strategy and requirements, and lead cross functional development teams from design through delivery.
You will be accountable for driving the entire product lifecycle, from product definition through specification, coding, quality assurance and launch to the world. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and change control. Cross-team coordination, agile project management and executive presentation skills are essential.
The ideal candidate is a creative and has demonstrated leadership with superior analytical abilities. This opportunity requires excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The candidate is not just a policy maker/spokesperson but drives to get the right things done. At the core of the position is delivery.
Qualified candidates have experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets as well as analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection and communicating results throughout the organization.
Knowledge of the following is required service-oriented architecture, product development , build processes, agile project management, release schedules.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
