The Global Risk and Compliance Technology Product Delivery and Integration team is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager with a strong product and tech mind-set. To be successful this individual will need to combine delivery excellence practices with practical and flexible approaches that result in value and efficiency for our solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Enhance technology solutioning conversations while documenting progress and deliverables
- Impact the delivery lifecycle process: execution of test cases, removing obstacles to delivery, coordination of development activities across multiple scrum teams, and implementing standard processes for Agile methodologies
- Lead the engineering team in achieving PI deliverables/objectives while improving the team’s long-term performance via encouraging continuous improvement in ways of working
- Facilitate the creation of implementation roadmaps with support from product and engineering leadership
- Coach Product Owners through backlog refinement, backlog readiness, definition of ready/done, writing user stories, and cultivates continuous delivery of business value to end users
- Proactively identify and maintain transparency into impediments, risks, and dependencies. Ensures impediments are visible and handled through to resolution, raising up when vital
- Facilitate Agile events that help engineering deliver value incrementally and iteratively
- Drive the engineering team's deliverables throughout the Program Increment (PI) through coaching and facilitating team level events
- Influencing without authority through effective change and leadership management
- Respectfully and purposefully challenge the norms
- Living the Agile and SAFe Values and Principles
- Championing constant learning to drive improvements and standardization
- Inspiring collaboration and quality practices between system architects, Agile teams, and product teams
- Promoting compliance with SDLC standards across the team
- Ensuring data integrity for the team within the Agile Management tools
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology related subject area or equivalent experience required
- 5-8 years of experience with a consistent track record of growing responsibility
- Previous engineering experience is a plus
- Experience leading Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions that meet customer expectations for timeliness and quality
- Excellent oral and written skills; Ability to efficiently communicate across product, technology and business partners
- Ability to deliver complex software iteratively and with quality
- PMI Certification preferred. Scrum Master Certification or demonstrated proven experience (certification may be required within designated timeframe).
- Experience using Rally delivery management platform is required
- Experience with SDLC Methodologies & Practice
- Deep understanding of Agile at Scale or iterative development processes, including quality and testing standard practices
