Job Description

  • 100% uptime availability of Utility equipment's.
  • Responsible for Planning, Organizing, and Supervising overall day to day operations & Maintenance of IDC Building.
  • Responsible for maintenance and service of Electrical system, DGs, Fire Alarm System, HVAC systems, BMS, Access Control, Video Surveillance.
  • Alarms monitoring & analysis, rectifications. Fault identifying and co-ordinations with Vendor till alarm closure.
  • Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Generate change management requests & incident management tickets for Data Center facility.
  • Work with IT managers (Server / Rack owner) and other business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability and efficiency.
  • Establish documentation relevant to business & facility operations.
  • Responsible for the installation of the racks and the provision of power/cooling.
  • Manage routine maintenance and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, commissioning and build out of new facilities.
  • Drive & implement projects to increase current facility capacity, efficiency, sustainability & reliability.
  • Management of the DC, in the provision of infrastructure & inventory asset management.
  • Conduct monthly operational meetings with vender management.
  • Review COLO/DC contract compliance & ensure all SLAs are achieved as per clients requirement.
  • Business interface with COLO/DC Management for day-to-day operational requirements.
  • Responsible for 100% manpower availability.
  • Manage COLO/DC to resolve of any infrastructure engineering issues.
  • Delivery of exceptional customer service and satisfaction to client with no escalations.
  • Responsible for AMC renewals and Vendor management meet on monthly basis.
  • Asset Management., Material / Spares Inventory Management. Spare procurement.
  • Verifying and implementation of various equipment’s SOP, MOP, checklist etc.
  • Shift planning and deployment of manpower efficiently.
  • Various DC Infra reports i.e. daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly report.
  • Responsible for overall Internal and external ISO audits.
  • DC rack space and capacity management.
  • Saturatory compliance adherence at site like Fire NOC, Form B, CTO of DG, Waste & Hazards material as per government norms.
  • BOQ preparations with Vendor co-ordinations.
  • Follow-ups with Vendor/clients for Invoices.
  • Safety management by ensuring all safety policy, processes, and procedure adherence at each individual level. Promoting safety culture through by enforcement and appreciating best practices through reward and recognize programs.
  • Ensuring all statutory compliance in place and consent to operate the facility without any fear of notice threat which could lead to business disruption.
  • Ensuring vendor compliance.

A highly skilled professional


You should be a graduate in engineering (Electrical) and have 3- 5 years’ experienced in Data centre / telecommunication Facility management. Proven experience with continuous improvement initiatives and client reporting is also vital for this role. If you’re familiar with occupational safety requirements matched with strong computer literacy and the ability to manage activities using different systems, then you might be the best fit for this job.
