Job Description

2. SUMMARY


Responsible for maintenance of applications which have been live in production. Managing both technical and functional defects, problems and changes. Working on hosted and on-prem solutions. Working with a team of Technical Analysts/Senior Technical Analysts, Database Administrators and other IT functions you will investigate solutions to client queries and be part of a team that builds, implements and support new client systems. Provide support guidance and mentoring Technical Analysts for their daily duties. Work with clients carrying out technical elements; technical implementation, enhancement, Automation, Resiliency, Issues, and changes for Experian solutions. Responsible for application security and and take accountability of the all the applications which are in your domain.


3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Management & Admin


  1. Ensure their own goals are met.
  2. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technical analysts/senior technical analysts.
  3. Work with Service Operations Manager to improve the function and to create additional revenue by creating the CR opportunities in service operations.

2. Technical and Functional


  1. Completely understand end-to-end infrastructure and application ecosystem to help build tools that can aid daily operations work and application ownership.
  2. Work on production issues and ensuring a quick and quality resolution.
  3. Work with the clients (IT and business teams) and to understand the requirements from a business perspective and develop solution for them.
  4. Design automated solutions with the application support space.
  5. Responsible for the identification and implementation of technical service improvements.
  6. Provide consultancy to the clients wherever needed on implementation of new components and upgrading the legacy solutions to the latest ones.
  7. SME in at least 1 product

3. Customer Management


  1. , support and Incident management, while working to tight contractual Service level agreements. Dealing with both clients directly and other Experian business teams
  2. Provide technical support for applications hosted both in the Experian Managed Service environments and those implemented at the client.
  3. Investigation into production issues. To work with Sr. Technical Analyst/ Technical Analysts to recreate problems and utilise trace files & error diagnostics utilities implementing corrective/follow up actions. Updating the Incident database to reflect the current position.
  4. Provide technical analysis to customers and business teams regarding support incidents.
  5. To provide out of hours support (24x7) as part of the on-call team and be prepared to work in shift patterns.

4. Knowledge Sharing


  1. Mentor less experienced members of the team to ensure constant knowledge growth of the team.
  2. Keep self-informed about new advances in own technology areas and able to propose the implementation of state-of-art technology.
  3. Participate with the management in service improvements and provide ideas to create world class support function.

Qualifications

4. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS


  1. You have analytical
  2. You have work expertise in Oracle/SQL Server RDBMS and able to write codes in PL/SQL
  3. Knowledge of Java, Groovy, PowerShell programming languages.
  4. 5 or more years of experience.
  5. Knowledge of Webservices and App Servers (Apache Tomcat, Websphere) is must.
  6. Knowledge of Windows and Linux Environments
  7. Understanding of JSON, XML, WSDL, XSL, XSD.
  8. You have.

Education


  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  3. Excellent technical, diagnostic, and.
  4. And organisational abilities.
  5. With staff and clients.
  6. ITIL certification is desirable.
