Job Location - Gurgaon (On site)


As a part of the Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) team, the candidate will be responsible for Global Client On-boarding (ONB) and Periodic Refresh functions based in India. The role requires sufficient knowledge to perform KYC, ongoing due diligence (ODD), transaction monitoring, and counter-terrorist financing (CTF).


Responsibilities


  • Effectively manage core ONB/ODD activities while balancing People, Risk & Compliance, Efficiencies, and Client Experience.
  •  Lead with example as a People Manager with 8+ years of people management experience. Conduct performance reviews and act as a motivational/inspirational leader.
  •  Streamline and optimize onboarding processes. Actively contribute to creating and maintaining global policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Identify and escalate potential areas for process improvement and system automation, focusing on enhancing the client experience.
  •  Participate in the insourcing of onboarding tasks from regions and integrate them into day-to-day work for the teams when requested.
  • Ensure positive engagement with stakeholders and maintain a high service level.
  •  Meet SLA’s for processing incoming cases and adhere to agreed quality standards.
  •  Work with key internal stakeholders within the FCP teams. Interact and cooperate with 2nd line and 3rd line within the organization to ensure compliance with local/global policies and procedures.
  • Collect and analyze information to evidence the need for change and drive change with proper change management.
  • Complete all mandatory trainings within due time and follow all other policies as required without chaser and follow-up.
  •  Comply with Saxo Group’s prevailing Security Policy and Business Procedures, as well as the procedures, guidelines, and work instructions in force at all times.
  • Work independently and share experience, know-how, and best practices with the team and other relevant teams in the Saxo Group.
  • Take ownership of implementing new features and incorporating new rules and regulations into the team’s working processes.

Your Profile

Further we are looking for a candidate with the following professional competencies:


  • Experience: 12-18 years of relevant experience in Financial Crime Prevention, KYC, ongoing due diligence (ODD), transaction monitoring, and counter-terrorist financing (CTF).  Must have 10+ years of experience in the KYC/AML functions.
  • People Management: 8+ years of people management experience with a proven track record of leading by example and acting as a motivational/inspirational leader.
  • Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for process optimization and improvement.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of global onboarding processes, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Attributes: High level of integrity, result-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently while sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
