Support the implementation of an integrated solution for BEPS 2.0 based on SAP products.
Focus is on ideating tax software by leveraging already available SAP solutions and supporting the development of new SAP solutions for global tax management.
Drive the digital transformation of SAP’s Global Tax Function to automate and optimize its processes across all stages of the tax lifecycle to identify where technology can streamline workflow and enhance productivity.
Conduct prioritization exercises to determine critical areas where intervention is needed, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives.
Drive essential conversations with various stakeholders, including the standard product team and the Corporate Processes and Information Technology (CPIT) team to turn identified opportunities into executable projects.
Work with CPIT and SAP Product Engineering across functions to leverage SAP Solutions for the digital transformation of SAP’s Global Tax Function and to provide a framework for co-innovation in the tax space.
Identify tax technology needs, including opportunities for process improvements, automation, efficiency gains, and application of tax process and technology best practices via the use of SAP technology and the implementation of new technology.
Willingness to build up tax skills based on the Tax Expert knowledge of SAP Global Tax Function
Develop an IT mindset and upskill existing Global Tax Experts to help fostering an IT-mindset in SAP’s Global Tax Function.
YOUR PROFILE

University degree (or comparable) in computer information systems,  computer science, information technology or related studies.
5+ years working experience as a software developer or programmer/analyst, preferably in an audit, advisory or consulting firm or multinational corporation.
Working knowledge of AI (machine learning, LLMs) for business application development.
Hands-on experience with programming languages like Python, Java, Javascript etc.
Understanding of business/finance/tax IT/ERP, preferably SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP solutions for global tax management.
Familiarity with business process for direct/income taxes in a plus.
Knowledge of ABAP is a plus.
Ability to learn, understand and adopt to new emerging technologies in cloud applications.
Ability to create prototypes and convert them to AI-enabled solutions for finance.
Proven ability to elaborate IT requirements with non-programming business users.
Ability to analyze processes and specify requirements, bridging gaps between departments such as Finance and IT.
Strong tax software knowledge, ideally also of SAP solutions for global tax management.
Team player with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Fluency in English (German is a plus).

Global Tax covers a broad range of tax related topics, including tax returns, tax audits, group reorganizations, transfer pricing and various tax reporting duties. The essential tasks of Global Tax also include the evaluation of tax strategies and tax planning for the Group. Global Tax collaborates closely with Corporate Financial Reporting, Global Controlling, Global Treasury and Global Legal.
