Responsibilities
Coordinate with external advisors for the preparation of tax returns and transfer pricing forms in the region, gather information required to prepare the tax returns and review the tax returns for accuracy
Prepare and/or review advance tax payment calculations, and arrange for the taxes to be paid in a timely manner
Liaise with the accounting department to prepare and/or review current and deferred tax provision calculations and tax notes for the statutory financial statements
Support the quarterly and full year Group consolidated tax reporting under US GAAP, including preparing quarterly and annual tax provision calculations, return to provision calculations and reconciliation of deferred tax assets and liabilities
Support the implementation of tax planning initiatives and compliance with new disclosure requirements, e.g. ATAD, CbCR, etc
Assist with tax audits including data collection and drafting responses to the tax authorities
Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, and evaluate the impacts on the company’s operations and financial positions
Streamline tax compliance process and implement system improvements
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of direct tax experience at a multi-national corporation or large tax consulting practice
Professional qualification – CTA required and accounting preferred
US GAAP tax reporting experience preferred
Alteryx and/or SAP experience is a plus
Strong computer skills and ability to quickly adapt to new technology
Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills
Able to work well under pressure to effectively handle multiple concurrent demands and appropriately prioritise responsibilities
Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with a proven record of operating cross functionally within a diverse team
