The Role:
We are seeking a System Integration and Test Engineer who will support GKN ePowertrain AWD/eDrive
Product development.
Key responsibilities include:
• Having System test experience in the range of 4 to 6 years
• Review and align system requirements and design test specifications
• Create, review and align system test specifications in co-ordination with system test
manager
• Test automation using python, CAPL or vTestStudio
• Execution of Manual and automated tests on dSPACE / VT Systems or any other HIL system
• Analyze test results, evaluate fulfillment of requirements on target system level and create
corresponding test reports
• Analyse Defects and Changes.
• Support Test Manager on detailed planning and team coordination.
• Setup and maintain the System testing environment.
Who you’ll be:
To be successful in this position, you will have proven experience on System Qualifiaciton test within the
Automotive industry or a related environment. Experience working with HIL and awareness of system
communication protocols like CAN/ CAN FD /LIN / Ethernetand diagnostics along with programs such as
Pearl/Python/CAPL would be an advantage
Specific Functional Capabilities, Knowledge and Skills Required
Essential Skills
• Experience with Vector tools such as CANOe, CANAnalyser & CANApe
• Hands on experience on configuration management tools like JIRA, SVN & Windchill
• Competent in usage of tools like DOORS, POLARIAN & PTC Integrity
• Experience on problem management tools like JIRA & PTC Integrity
• Knowledge of use test equipment, include Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Wave Generator, etc.,
• Review and understanding System requirement and Architecture, found the requirement issue
• Product know how: Good knowledge of Powertrain, Diagnostics & UDS modules
Tool Skills
• VT System or Dspace or ETAS HIL system
• VTest Studio
Desirable
• ISTQB foundation level certification or similar
• Good knowledge of automotive development processes including V-Modell, ASPICE and agile
methods
Language Skills
Must be fluent in English
