Our Learning Technology team is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer for our Learning products, based in Bangalore, IN. You will drive end to end infrastructure planning & provisioning, production operations, deployment, engineering strategy and best practice across all learning products. You will bring your passion for highly resilient, highly available, and scalable N-Tier and distributed solutions involving integrations with 3rd party vendors. You will be an integral member of the Value-Added Services Product Development team, helping to bring the best learning experience for our employees and our clients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct deployment activities - own infrastructure planning, product deployment, change management, and maintenance activities in various production and non-production environments using CI/CD and DevOps processes
Maintain compliance with Operational Excellence and Reliability Engineering standards (Availability, Agility, Analytics, Automation, Resiliency, Monitoring) to ensure uptime and excellent user experience
Create & automate operational processes and associated runbooks
Embed with the delivery team to ensure that solutions are designed for post-launch readiness and support
Implement Visa standards and controls applicable to infrastructure, applications, security and change management (SLA/OLA/Security)
Own & report on KPIs (Metrics and analytics on team performance when it comes to tickets, resolution, SLA’s etc.)
Own and drive P1/P2 incidents to closure as the first point of contact.
Research and drive adoption of best practices for infrastructure and operations excellence.
Mentor junior team members on the art of “operations excellence”, and to create operations-friendly products.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
