This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Job Family Definition:


The Cloud Developer builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications and is always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems.
Brings technical thinking to break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions.
Collaborates with project managers and development partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of Cloud engagements.
The Cloud Developer provides business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPE's Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications.


Management Level Definition:


Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.


What you'll do:


Mandatory Requirements:


  • Have a B.Sc. in computer science
  • At least 7 years of C#/Java development experience in automation with strong background of OOP Working experience in virtualization VMware/Hyper-V/KVM
  • Experience in Test Automation in one of the following programming languages: C# preferred/Java Strong understanding of generic test automation frameworks and tools ( Nunit, Junit,Selenium, Playwright, etc)
  • Hands-on experience working with web technologies - HTTP/HTTPS, RESTful API, JSON. Postman
  • Experience defining test cases, conducting test runs, investigating failures, debugging and fixing automation issues, and submitting well-documented bug reports Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices with exposure to tech stack such as K8S, Docker, Jenkins, Groovy
  • Experience with Version Control System (git, GitHub) Deep knowledge about designing and maintaining test Automation frameworks
  • Ability to understand Tools like ReportPortal or Allure for Automation Launch report publishing Self-learner, able to accumulate system vision from training, documentation, and self-exploration Change agent.
  • Able to propose scalable solutions & significant refactoring improvements, Excellent Team player, yet with ability to work independently

Good To Have Requirements:


  • Hands-on Experience with Cloud Native, Microservices, Containers and Virtualization Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Prior Experience in Storage Domain (FC, iSCSI, Networking, NFS, SMB, VVOL, VMFS, DRaaS) Prior working experience in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of SaaS delivery model and cloud application testing knowledge of TCP-IP Suite of protocols (Ethernet, VLAN, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, DNS)
  • Knowledge of security techniques Experience with agile methodology using Jira and XRAY

  • Be a significant member of Zerto QA Automation team, which operates as an agile Squad (AKA Scrum)
  • Analyse current framework, propose innovations and improvements based on your experience
  • Design and develop automation infrastructures
  • Automate test cases based on existing tests portfolio
  • Fix automation bugs reported by the team and internal customers
  • Perform code reviews to peers and mentees
  • Take active part of the ,Jenkins based, CICD process
  • Investigates failures of tests run by CI till root cause and report bugs in order to increase product quality
  • Train & Mentor team partners within QA engineers, interns and developers in order to increase automation coverage of new and legacy projects and features
