Job Overview: 
As the Senior Staff Product Manager for Manageability, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering the product roadmap for our Cohesitys' Platform manageability features. You will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and execution of key features, including Telemetry, Alerting, Logging, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and other operational capabilities that ensure ease of use, visibility, and security for our customers.
You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, customer success, and other stakeholders to deliver best-in-class features that enhance the operational experience for our customers, ensuring the seamless integration and management of our Cohesity solutions in complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities: 
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for manageability features (Telemetry, Alerting, Logging, RBAC) that align with the overall company vision and meet customer needs. Stay ahead of market trends, competitive products, and customer feedback to prioritize new features, enhancements, and innovations.
Collaborate with leadership to align business objectives with product goals.
Cross-Functional Leadership:


  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX/UI design, data science, and operations, to successfully launch and iterate on manageability features.
  • Work closely with customer success and support teams to ensure product features meet customer expectations and resolve any operational pain points.


Telemetry & Monitoring:  


  • Define requirements for collecting telemetry data to monitor the health and performance of storage systems.
  • Enable comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities that provide customers with actionable insights into system performance and potential issues.


Alerting & Incident Management:


  • Develop a robust alerting system that helps users detect, diagnose, and respond to issues in real-time.
  • Work with engineering to ensure efficient incident management workflows, including integration with external monitoring systems.


Logging & Analytics:


  • Define best practices for log collection, aggregation, and analysis to help customers troubleshoot, audit, and optimize storage systems.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to provide advanced insights and metrics that help customers better understand system usage and performance.


Role-Based Access Control (RBAC):


  • Drive the development of advanced RBAC capabilities to ensure fine-grained access control across different levels of the storage platform.
  • Work with security teams to ensure the manageability features meet the highest standards of security and compliance.


Customer & Market Research: 


  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify opportunities for product improvements.
  • Regularly assess market trends and competitor products to inform feature prioritization.


Go-to-Market & Adoption:  


  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure proper product positioning, messaging, and successful customer adoption.
  • Assist in creating training materials, documentation, and customer success resources related to manageability features.


Qualifications:  


  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, or storage solutions.
  • Deep expertise in manageability areas such as telemetry, logging, monitoring, alerting, and RBAC.
  • Proven experience in driving the product strategy and delivering successful product features from concept to launch in a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of data storage systems, cloud architecture, and operational management best practices.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with experience working with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred).


Nice-to-Have:  


  • Experience working in a storage company or with storage infrastructure products (e.g., SAN, NAS, object storage).
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks relevant to storage solutions (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
