Job Description
Product Manager, Forecasting Product will work within the Human Health Digital, Data, and Analytics (HHDDA) division where we are realizing the vision of a cohesive commercial decision support product suite, helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions to optimize delivery of our medicines to patients. This role will contribute to the development and activation of our advanced internal forecasting products.
The successful candidate will work with the product management and product delivery teams to build relationships with our internal customers, train our activation teams in optimal product uses for their business objectives, measure product success and impact, and become expert in our customer’s needs to act as their voice in our product development.
The preferred candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, understanding of healthcare & technology, and experience with product development. The candidate will have demonstrated strong leadership skills, subject matter expert in Healthcare/Pharma and have an ability to work independently and deal well with ambiguity, and strong collaboration and communication skills. The Role

- Analyze: You have an analytical bent of mind. You conduct thorough analysis of business processes, user needs, stakeholder challenges to inform a better understanding that guides product development.
- Love Math & Stats: We expect you to know enough math to understand our business process building blocks. If Time Series Analysis makes you dizzy, this job isn’t for you.
- Understand Pharma Forecasting: This is your core skill. You have muddied your boots in forecasting processes and meta-processes.
- Be a voice of your customer: You have your ear on the ground, interacting with our stakeholders and customers and understanding their needs. You are the crucial link between business needs and tech implementation.
- Communicate politely, professionally and effortlessly with everyone
- Adapt and Respond to Change: Be flexible and responsive to changes in the market or customer feedback, adjusting product strategies and roadmaps as necessary.

What you will be doingWithin 3 Months
- Understand the product that we work on.
- Familiarize yourself with our processes, workflows, products and tools and our coffee machines.
- Embed with our forecasting colleagues to understand the nuances of their business processes
- Familiarize with key stakeholders, work with product success leads, product management leads and product delivery leads.
- Have share-back sessions to with the Product Success Leads to showcase your learnings
- Participate in the different ceremonies. Understand their purpose.
- Ask Questions. Even if they sound dumb to you. Ask a lot of questions.
Within 6 Months
- Collaborate with product teams to define and document detailed business requirements for upcoming features.
- Conduct gap analysis between current capabilities and desired outcomes.
- Identify areas of opportunity for us to better deliver business value to our stakeholders/customers.
Within 9 Months
- Acting as a voice of customer for our product success and development teams, helping to propose, prioritize, and evaluate new product features
Education Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an MBA., relevant certifications are a plus.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 3+ years (total 10+ years) experience in a lead role in Product Management and domain expert in a pharmaceutical or life sciences space
- Applied experience related to time-series forecasting, stochastic simulation, optimization
- Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams effectively
- Experience designing and developing embedded reporting, dashboards, and visualizations
- Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholders at all levels.
